Here’s what I can offer you:

In general, I specialize in a very integrative style of therapeutic bodywork that has a functional and structural, nurturing approach. I blend my orthopedic manual therapy training (Hendrickson Method) with many of the western massage modalities I teach. I lean heavily on structural deep tissue, Muscle Energy Techniques, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, Swedish massage, joint mobilizations, lymphatic drainage, and subtle somatic reflex work. I always consider the fascia and muscular mechanics—utilizing the weight, rhythm, stretch, and engagement of a human body to inform the way I will help guide it back into a state of greater ease and recalibrate its communication within itself. I focus on integration, stability, and functionality. When I am doing a more full-body-massage-type session, I utilize a lot of deeper tissue and Swedish techniques to nourish, soften, and hydrate tissues. When I am working towards injury rehabilitation and focused mechanical function I often work with a client completely clothed and very involved in the session. Each session is unique with its own intention and focus. My work is anatomically specific and my technique choices are intentional. My work is diligent, nurturing, trauma sensitive, and care-filled. I’m as gentle on the spirit as I am tough on those places that need it the most. I am interested in hypermobility and providing bodywork that feels safe for bodies that often get injured in massages.

I do offer cupping upon request or if it’s particularly indicated. They can be a wonderful tool to hydrate tissue and soften tight, stuck areas. Though this kind of cupping can leave marks, receiving them can be both surprisingly gentle and dramatically effective. I use them in a safe way that is not damaging to tissues or overwhelming to the body.

I offer Lymphatic Drainage Massage, partially with cups, but also manually with my hands as well. Lymphatic work with cups is gentle, does not leave marks, and is curiously enjoyable and refreshing! Facial cupping can deeply hydrate face muscles and will soften expression lines.

I offer pregnancy sessions, both for the pre- and post-natal journeys.

I am committed to working safely within my scope of practice. For post-surgical, lymphatic drainage, post-cancer treatment, and pregnancy work, please ensure that you have any appropriate medical approval necessary for the bodywork you are seeking from me so that I can support you effectively and safely. There are instances where I will refer clients to practitioners who are more specialized and trained than myself. Thank you :)

If you have any questions regarding any of these modalities and/ or if what I offer may be suitable for you, please don’t hesitate to contact me and ask!
